This handcrafted bronze sculpture, inspired by F. Preiss, captures a timeless Art Deco moment of a young boy relaxing on the beach while engrossed in a book. Crafted using the traditional lost wax method, this figurine showcases exceptional attention to detail — from the boy's relaxed posture to the open book resting in his hands. The rich brown patina finish lends the piece a sense of depth and sophistication, while the sleek black marble base provides a refined, elegant foundation. Measuring 8.5 inches in height and 11 inches in width, with a total weight of 15 lbs, this substantial sculpture makes a striking statement piece for any tabletop or display shelf. The marble base dimensions are 11 inches by 6 inches, and the sculpture stands 7.5 inches tall without the base. A wonderful addition to any Art Deco or figurative art collection, this piece beautifully celebrates the era's hallmark qualities of grace, charm, and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Ideal for collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
